excel instructions
step 1 copy the data into columns so you have at least 3 columns of the same data
step 2 delete and shift data up one cell up for every column over from the original, i.e. one cell up for the first column over, two cells up for the second column, etc.
step 3, select the whole sheet and sort by the first column
step 4 delete every row of data that does not start with the writ number.
step 5 insert several (like 6) blank columns.
step 6 we need to insert a good delimiter, like } using find and replace. Study the data for patterns where you think you can fairly reliably insert the delimiter.
If you have a hard time replacing certain items, like spaces, with the delimiter, try highlighting the item you want to replace and copying and pasting into the 'find' box in the find and replace dialog box.
Once you have inserted the delimiter, select the column and go to Tools>Text to columns and follow the wizard to break the column apart based on the delimiter you have inserted.
Repeat the insertion of delimiters and using text to column function until you have your data segmented the way you wish.
